The designer has recreated her 2008 Marc Jacobs campaign
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of her namesake brand, Victoria Beckham is leaving New York and returning to London Fashion Week to showcase her new collection. And as part of that collection, the designer has created a limited edition 10th anniversary tee.
The tee revisits a moment in 2008 when Beckham starred in a rather unusual Marc Jacobs campaign. Shot by Juergen Teller, the advert saw Beckham posing with a huge carrier bag. One of the most famous images was the designer’s heeled legs sticking out of the ginormous shopping bag. Now, 10 years later, Beckham has recreated the campaign for her own brand, marking both her label’s anniversary and her journey as a designer.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “This season marks the 10 year anniversary of my brand. When Marc Jacobs featured me coming out of a shopping bag a decade ago it really was just the beginning of my journey into the fashion industry. So what better way to illustrate the story of the past ten years than by revisiting the creative? So excited to share this campaign with you shot by the brilliant Juergen Teller.”
The tees will be available to buy after the designers fashion show on September 16.
