Two of the world’s leading figures are teaming up to create an Apple series focusing on mental health…
Fresh off the back from literally breaking the internet with their Instagram venture, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are constantly giving us some good news. And honestly, we’ll take it because once their first baby is born (any day now), it’ll be a while until we see the royal pair again.
So, with that being said, Prince Harry is currently in the limelight as he just announced that he will be partnering up with the one, the only, Oprah Winfrey on a new (and important) series for Apple.
Known advocates of mental health and constantly supporting awareness for the topic, the duo’s new Apple series will focus on “both mental illness and mental wellness, inspiring viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges each of us faces, and how to equip ourselves with the tools to not simply survive, but to thrive.”
What makes the reveal even more sincere is that the British royal personally announced the news via his (and Meghan’s) new Instagram channel, @sussexroyal.

“It is a huge responsibility to get this right as we bring you the facts, the science and the awareness of a subject that is so relevant during these times. Our hope is that this series will be positive, enlightening and inclusive – sharing global stories of unparalleled human spirit fighting back from the darkest places, and the opportunity for us to understand ourselves and those around us better. I am incredibly proud to be working alongside Oprah on this vital series.”
The pairing of two of the world’s greatest leaders come as no surprise as Oprah was one of the selected celebrity guests to attend the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding.
Could you name a more powerful duo? Ok, besides Harry and Meghan…
No further details have been revealed other than the series is expected to be released in 2020. In the meantime, find out why we’re crazy in love with Beyoncé new and upcoming documentary on Netflix.
