Remember Beyoncé’s Coachella performance last year? Well, you’ll have the chance to go behind the scenes of the now-iconic set with Netflix’s new documentary…
Beyoncé won the world over with not one, but two, sets during Coachella’s music festival last year. And to be honest, the live-streamed performances literally broke the internet.
It was quite a show to remember and it even marked a slew of milestones for the artist (including being the first time an African-American woman headlined Coachella in the festival’s history). With another year of incredible music line-ups set to kick off this weekend, we’ve been reminiscing Queen Bey’s critically lauded festival performances. And there’s no harm in watching it over (and over) again.
Thankfully now, we’ll have the chance to do just that AND actually go behind the scenes of the artist’s Coachella set. News just emerged that the electrifying performance will now be the subject of an upcoming Netflix documentary, titled Homecoming.
Yes, you read that right. Beychella is officially coming to Netflix (yes!).
So what can you expect? Homecoming will reveal “the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement” of the Coachella performance. In addition to that, the documentary will show intimate and in-depth backstage preparations, too.
Watch the teaser below…
The Homecoming documentary will be available on Netflix from April 17, 2019.
If you can’t wait that long and still need your daily dose of Beyoncé, find out which Middle Eastern label she was seen fronting earlier this year.
