Another day, another reason to celebrate Arab women, this time courtesy of beauty giant MAC Cosmetics, which today announced a collaboration with Lebanese singer, actress and now muse Cyrine Abdelnour, for its Rose-Gilded Glam collection.
Inspired by the star, the limited edition eye palette draws references from the region’s love of rose gold, translating into 10 shimmering metallic hues created for Middle Eastern skin tones.
How to make the palette work for you? Either play down the buttery smooth, molten metallics and warm neutrals by sheering them out for a one-swipe subtle glow. Or get creative and layer the shades to create a multi-hued, multi-dimensional look that produces a high-impact, maximum intensity colour payoff.
The collection also includes three new lashes inspired by Cyrine herself, Dazzle Drops, three foundation tones, and three lipsticks in beautiful plum-to-peachy nude. While the collection won’t go on sale in stores or online until May 27, there’s no harm in adding it to your make-up arsenal wish list now to beat the beauty rush.
