MOJEH meets Giuditta Spezzapria, the founder of the Middle East’s newest e-commerce experience Attuale
Inspired by the relentless pace of our modern lifestyle, Giuditta Spezzapria’s entrepreneurial lightbulb moment was borne of a reaction to systematic e-tail overload.
“Attuale is a carefully curated response to countering today’s overwhelming, scattered offering,” she says of the newly-launched platform, which translates from the Italian word for ‘contemporary.’
Following her eagerness to explore, restore and narrate more meaningful content through fashion and technology, Giuditta’s vision was to create a go-to online destination encouraging conscious and healthy choices across fashion, beauty and lifestyle while providing explanations and answers on how to make those decisions.
“Attuale is the solution to many days spent trying to nd what our woman is looking for,” says Giuditta. “We select products that we believe make the Attuale woman feel confident and comfortable with herself, while sharing stories and real life accomplishments from real women, to inspire others.”
Together with senior buyer, Katharina Erasin, the site offers a curation of emerging brands, many of which are exclusive to the UAE market, with a key focus on the sustainable. “We launched with 54 brands spanning clothing, accessories and beauty, selected specifically for quality, brand identity and consciousness,” explains Giuditta.
“Alongside these sustainable brands, Attuale The Archive is a collection of one-off vintage pieces that have been hand-sourced on buying trips around the world, which are unique and feel precious. We are very particular about quality and details, scouting pieces that last multiple lifetimes and can together to promote our reduce, reuse, recycle way of thinking.”
