According to the SS19 runways, stacked necklaces and statement earrings are still very much on trend, with classics such as hoop earrings and jewel encrusted crowns getting a creative revamp. Here’s our roundup of the four best jewellery trends to come out of fashion month.

Stacked to perfection
Whether it’s stacking your rings, layering your necklaces, or opting for an overdose of arm candy, when it comes to jewellery trends for SS19 the more-is-more approach reigns supreme. Alexander McQueen opted for layers of varying length necklaces, while Balmain decided on stacks of clear bangles.

Not so basic hoops
The phrase “go big or go home” was definitely made for hoop earrings come SS19. At Valentino Pierpaolo Piccioli updated a classic by eliminating the bottom half of the design, while Loewe introduced more hoops than we know what to do with.

Crowning glory
While oversized hats still proved to be a popular choice on the SS19 runways, another headwear trend that caught our eye was bejeweled crowns, headbands and even facemasks. There were pretty princess-worthy tiaras at Simone Rocha and Gucci, while Anrealage and Kochè opted for a slightly darker vibe.

Midsection charms
While the early 2000s may have been accountable for some of the most questionable fashion trends we’ve ever seen, it was also responsible for introducing the charm belt. Chanel opted for a throwback logo version, while Gucci, Altuzarra and Versace decided on more electric styles.
