Two months after being named as the face of Givenchy, the 26-year-old has posed for a series of striking portraits by acclaimed fashion photographer Craig McDean. With her signature long locks swept back into a sleek high pony, and holding the brand’s new statement bag - the Eden - Ariana Grande’s debut campaign for the fashion house is the embodiment of modernity. The images are in keeping with the portraits favoured by Hubert de Givenchy, too, which he dubbed 'the Givenchy sitting,' due to their striking composition within a frame.
Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller’s ‘Winter of Eden’ collection is all about geometric shapes, luxurious silky skins and sharp functionality - something the brand believes is completely inline with the Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter. Ariana posted an image on Instagram with the caption, “Honoured to be your girl and wear these looooks.” The campaign is accompanied by the hashtag ‘#Arivenchy’ which is already gathering pace on social media.
