It’s the biggest night in British fashion
On Monday evening, the British Fashion Council held The Fashion Awards 2018 at The Royal Albert Hall in London. The annual event recognises creativity and innovation in fashion, celebrating exceptional individuals whose imagination and creativity have broken new ground in fashion globally over the past 12 months, and the brands and businesses that have transformed the possibilities of fashion today.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Kaia Gerber, who won model of the year, took to the red carpet in a dazzling Alexander McQueen ensemble, which featured an asymmetrical metallic top with cutouts and arm cuffs, paired with cropped, flared trousers and black heels. Victoria Beckham, who was nominated for British Designer of the Year Womenswear for her eponymous brand looked every inch a style icon in a design from her own SS19 collection. The elegant black evening gown featured wrap front detailing and pockets, giving it an androgynous twist.
Here’s every look from the stylish red carpet you need to see.
