Kaia Gerber is taking her talents off the runway and into the design studio
As part of the launch for the Karl Lagerfeld X Kaia collection, MOJEH.com got a behind the scenes look at the model working her creative magic in the studio. This is Gerber’s first ever design collaboration, which includes ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear, sunglasses and jewellery.
“I have loved being a part of the creative process and working with Karl is a dream,” said Gerber. “I’ve always thought that he’s a genius, so it’s amazing that he’s shown me some of his trade. It has given me a new appreciation for how hard designers work, and how much creativity and thought goes into every collection.”
Daughter of iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford, Kaia made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week SS18, and instantly became an “it girl” after appearing in 18 shows that season. She also has an off-duty wardrobe that’s captivated street style critics around the world.

The Karl Lagerfeld X Kaia collection will be available exclusively on Karl.com and Revolve.com from August 30 for two weeks. From September 14, it will be available through a global network of retailers.
