With the hottest months behind us, new routines and schedules are put in place and there is a feeling that everything is new—a fresh start, like the season. Travelling as much as I do, my winter wardrobe consists of 20-degree UAE winter pieces like denim with a light trench, to below zero European winter leather leggings with a coat and boots. Thankfully, the Autumn/Winter collections are here, and they’re bolder and more beautiful than ever. Our trend report lists all the must-haves along with some must-buys for the season. Although I always try to remain positive, there is no doubt that 2021 has served up another turbulent year. With the constant rise and fall of Covid numbers, the unrest in the Middle East has us appreciating what matters most more than ever. Sharing time with loved ones near or far via video is now a daily must-do, as is taking the opportunity to help those less fortunate. This month, I hope you will join me in donating food, clothes, your time…whatever you can to a local Middle Eastern charity. Even the smallest gesture can help those who have lost so much.

The Autumn/Winter season is always one I love. The rich colours, textured fabrics and layering-up is always welcome after the long, hot summer. This season, a hat will take the place of my cap and sandals will be replaced with boots. Sunscreen is always a constant, as is a trusty Chanel cross body which works whatever the season.
