Having a ball with the new Dior Grand Bal Plume timepiece
Christian Dior revolutionised fashion when he presented his first haute couture show back in 1947. Today his legacy is honoured by the French maison in the most delicate and beautiful of timepieces, the Dior Grand Bal Plume. Inspired by the Monsieur’s great ball gowns, the latest release swirls like his graceful creations to the rhythm of the “Dior Inversé 11 1/2” calibre. Combining watchmaking technology with feather-making know-how, specific to Haute Couture, the 36mm model is elaborated with great delicacy. On a sun-brushed golden dial, the airy-light feathers are covered in gold then set on the oscillating weight like a feathered petticoat embroidered with gold and diamonds. The beautiful timepiece comes in a limited editions of 88 pieces.
