Cruise season is officially in full swing. Next up? Louis Vuitton. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has chosen sun-drenched San Diego, California as the location for the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2022/23 presentation. Specifically, the show will take place at The Salk Institute for Biological Sciences, an award-winning research facility and architectural wonder designed by Louis Kahn. The main buildings are separated by a water feature that seemingly feeds the Pacific Ocean, not only creating a stunning view but, if you ask us, the perfect runway. After two years of being grounded, we’re thrilled to satisfy our wanderlust and experience destination shows once more. Though the Maison hasn’t dropped any hints about the upcoming collection, we’re expecting structured, futuristic resortwear in honour of the location.
