The Shoot: Van Cleef & Arpels Redefines Diamonds For Day

8 Photos

Van Cleef & Arpels’ history-filled creations come alive in MOJEH’s exclusive shoot; draped necklaces dance while the magnificence of gemstones is highlighted under the desert sun. Follow the Maison on a dreamy diamond-filled adventure through Sharjah’s stunning architectural landmark, The Flying Saucer.

A celebration of Van Cleef & Arpels icons, the Ludo bracelet – a couture-inspired ribbon conceptualised in 1935 – and the subtle yet striking Palmyre necklace are captured by Greg Adamski. They are in wonderful company, too. Case in point? The Zip Couture necklace. Whether worn traditionally or draped across the back as a nod to its utilitarian inspiration, the slender silhouette caresses the skin, its pink sapphires marrying decadence and playfulness. The Flying Butterfly necklace is as delicate and majestic as the creature itself, its high-jewellery counterpart adorned with diamonds. Elsewhere, the À Cheval necklace and matching platinum-and-diamond earrings are awe-inspiring enough to render veteran high-jewellery collectors speechless, even before learning of the necklace’s transformable element; it can be worn as two bracelets.
