Ailes fine jewellery closes the gap between luxury jewels and statement pieces that still pack a punch
So often when accessorising our outfits we are forced to choose between delicate fine jewellery or more statement-making high fashion pieces to fit a certain look. Luckily, thanks to homegrown Emirati jewellery brand Ailes, we no longer have that problem, with designers Hind and Fatma Ismail Janahi crafting collections that are vibrant, fun, playful and luxurious all at the same time.

“We’ve been customising our jewellery and designing our own personal pieces from a very young age,” Hind tells MOJEH. “We went on to study geology at the International Gemological Institute and it was here we found a niche in the market and set about changing the perception of fine jewellery to something that can work for different occasions and in different ways.”

Using mainly diamonds and rubies, each Ailes piece is unique and designed to be worn stacked or alone, and carefully crafted through the transformation of rough gemstones into polished works of art. Antique vases are Hind and Fatma’s primary inspiration, and each piece is customisable. “Our jewellery embodies the complete sense of individuality in the woman that wears it, how she styles it and how she plays around with it,” adds Hind.
