Occurring as part of the second season of The Collective, a retail incubation programme created in collaboration with luxury department store Printemps Doha, the collection features six Qatari and Qatar-based startup brands across womenswear, children’s collections and footwear. The programme sees designers paired with industry experts to undergo courses about various aspects of the industry, from design and development to distribution and marketing.

The capsule collection includes eveningwear by Tagreed Omer, which brings to life the founder’s love for hand-painted fabrics and textiles; abayas and ready-to-wear at LIN, designed by Noof Almulla; and F.J Design, a brand driven by a message of female empowerment and self-expression.

M7 was established by Qatar Museums to equip creatives with tools to accelerate their growth in the industry through workshops, mentorship programmes and exhibitions. “The Collective retail incubation programme was a response to bring Qatar’s burgeoning talents and creatives to the forefront,” explains Maha Al Sulaiti, Director of M7. The Collective collection is available at the M7 space at Printemps Doha until May 2024.
