From dazzling dresses to sleek jumpsuits, there was no shortage of sophisticated glamour
The 56th New York Film Festival opened last week, and is a celebration of cinema past, present and future, without regard for box office success. “It’s all about the work, it’s all about the movies, it’s all about the filmmaker,” New York Film Festival director Kent Jones said.
Although the event still has another week to go, we’ve already seen a host of standout sartorial choices including Emma Stone, who attended The Favourite premier in a black and white patterned dress with a deep V-neck and flouncy skirt, while Carey Mulligan sparkled in Valentino at the Wildlife screening.
