Pre-loved fashion made its way onto the Oscars after-party red carpet thanks to Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney

When you stumble upon the perfect gown, why only let the world see it once? In 2004, Angelina Jolie wore an ivory satin gown by Marc Bouwer to the 76th Academy Awards to present the award for Best Art Direction. It featured a plunging neckline, elegant train and a satin sheath; Jolie teamed it with four dazzling necklaces (each one with a larger stone than the last), stealing attention of spectators and peers alike on the red carpet.

Fast forward twenty years and Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney arrived to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in the exact same dress. An homage to Angelina? A statement on sustainability? Just a really, really beautiful gown? Whatever the reasoning, MOJEH approves. Sydney’s stylist Molly Dickson took cues from Angelina,  complementing the dress with doubled-up jewels and a Marilyn Monroe-esque bob to drive home the Old Hollywood glamour feel.
