Nothing is more heart-warming than friends and family gathering to celebrate. Stella McCartney’s a/w16 show had the front row lit with her famous friends donning her signature faux fur jackets with a label that read “Fur Free Fur”, a cause, so dear to her heart, that she extended it in her latest collection as well.

Daywear consisted mostly of a lineup with an elevated streetwear vibe with puffas in supersized proportions, and a series of tie-dye denim elongated jackets and button-through dresses with criss-cross lacing. A certain softness of the brand could be sensed when a swan motif popped up on bibbed sweaters, printed on voluminous silk trousers and worked as a jacquard on trousers. The latter half of the show presented a mix of androgynous pieces like a black velvet trouser suit, the tuxedo jacket boasting a suspended sheer tulle; with super flirty pieces such as of nude and rust-coloured plisse slip dresses with camisole tops and lace inserts. One for every mood, any day!
