PFW SS18: Saint Laurent

The Silhouette: Ballooned proportions are balanced by high-shine cigarette pants on the bottom half. A monochrome palette keeps the form the main focus.
The Texture: Air-light ostrich feathers create otherworldly movement as models glided down the runway.
The Glamour Update: Dresses were shunned in favour of glossed over pants punctuated with embellished belts and heritage print, jacquard playsuits.
The Cover-up: Shoulders slipped into lightly ruffled, sparkling, sheer jackets that slinked down the runway.
The Boot: A standout addition to the show, these slouchy, feather-laden boots gained an instant spot on our must-have list. Versatile and virtuous, wear them over leather pants, short-shorts or a thigh-grazing skirt.
The Details: Corset fastenings and hanging laces added elements of interest to safari-style olive-green shorts while gold piping completed structured blazers and air-light cream, feathers elevated cross-tie sandals.
The Layers: Legions of leather remained true to the brand. This spring/summer from leather to silk, velvet and lace, it's about combining textures to create a unique aesthetic

Anthony Vaccarello’s collection is both wearable and wonderful. Proposing glamour for the contemporary girl in the form of edgy leather shorts softened by ostrich feathers streaming from knee-boots, glitter-glazed playsuits and high-sheen power pants.
