We look to the Instagram posts of five glamorous local women to see what this season’s fashion week wardrobe might offer. The women of the Middle East have an unspoken connection when it comes to fashion: extreme elegance at all times. From the Palestinian twins Haya and Sama Khadra, who style their multiple Chanel pieces to exude an effortless Nineties vibe to the casually luxurious looks of brand ambassador/television host Jessica Kahawaty, who combines earthy tones in a wardrobe of snug jeans and overcoats. Television producer, Diala Makki, a close friend to haute couturier Rami Al Ali, is seen in bedazzling day dresses and eveningwear at countless Parisian events, followed by Tala Samman, a fan of the circle skirt and crop-top look. Meanwhile our Editor in Chief chooses to play it cool in dainty day frocks and soft denim as the underlying code seems to be a mix of utility, lightweight proportions and a rich colour palette.
