Hollywood celebrities took to the red carpet late last night in an array of designer gowns for the Oscars. Here are our top six looks from the event.

Actress Emma Stone opted for her signature bold look, dressed in a lime sequined Elie Saab gown, full peach lip and red locks, her alternative style continued to impress. Alongside another sparkling success of the evening, Best Actress winner Julianne Moore wore a pale strapless custom Chanel design, channeling the 1920s with her classic updo, complete with Fred Leighton jewellery.
