AW18 FW: Paris Street Style Part One

Dior… and then more Dior, ruled the streets of Paris on day one as the industry’s bloggers and influencers attended the house’s show wearing head to toe from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s SS18 collection for the brand. We saw swathes of red, heart emblems, black and white check prints and an array of bags from the Lady Dior to the J’adior Flap. A MOJEH favourite came in the form of the racing inspired blue, white and black look – sporty, cool and casual.

Away from the Dior frenzy, street style in Paris focused on statement outerwear. Think red leather biker jackets, oversized trenches and this year’s must-have quilted puffer. Layering underneath went from one extreme to the other with either head-to-toe block coloured, three-piece suits championing (worn best with upbeat accessories to accent); or heavily layered outfits with eccentric clashes of print and colour.

Not dissimilar to Milan, Gucci and Balenciaga’s trainers made their mark outside most shows.
