The actress chose to embrace the underwater theme wholeheartedly
From bike shorts to bum bags, 2018 has been the year of unexpected fashion trends, but so far, nobody has been brave enough to attempt to make the humble swimming cap “a thing” – until now.
Actress Amber Heard attended the Aquaman world premiere in London wearing a head-turning green-and-gold metallic gown with a matching headpiece from Valentino’s haute couture collection that resembled an old-school swimming cap, which was fitting for the movie’s aquatic theme.

The blonde beauty completed the dramatic ensemble with gold peep-toe platform sandals by Brian Atwood and Beladora jewellery. Heard kept her makeup simple with a soft pink pout, shimmery gold eyes and perfectly groomed brows.
Karla Welch, Heard’s stylist, shared photos of the star on Instagram with the caption: “When you’ve waited since July to wear a @maisonvalentino haute couture masterpiece. And duh, it’s @aquamanmovie so obviously we went for the swim cap!”
While we’re not completely sold on the look, we have to give the star ten points for on-theme dressing.
