Honeycomb Hi-Fi, 21Grams and BOCA are the next Dubai restaurants taking part in the Gather for Gaza series
After a successful first Gather for Gaza event, Soul Collective DXB has organised more fundraisers to contribute to the Tarahum for Gaza campaign which sends humanitarian aid to victims of the ongoing violence in Gaza. The Gather for Gaza series will see multiple Dubai restaurants host events, from cultural evenings to intimate dinners.
The first event was hosted by Hattem Mattar in partnership with Emirates Red Crescent. Gather for Gaza created an outdoor food festival complete with musical performances and art showcases by Palestinian creatives. Over ten homegrown culinary concepts were present at the event, including Pinza!, MATTAR, Ugly Noodles and Ka’ak Al Manara, and raised more than Dhs125,000 thanks to 300 attendees.

The second edition of Gather for Gaza takes place on 6 November from 7PM to 10PM at Honeycomb Hi-Fi, where guests can gather for a curated listening session dedicated to the people of Palestine. The price of the ticket (available here) includes bites and non-alcoholic beverages; there are three donation amounts available and all will grant equal access to the event.
Much-loved Balkan bistro 21Grams is up on 8 November, hosting its Gather for Gaza event from 6PM onwards. The event promises a soulful evening and the tickets (available here) are inclusive of a sharing-style dinner and drinks.

The third instalment takes place at BOCA, DIFC’s Spanish restaurant, on 12 November. Award-winning chefs Sara Aqel of Fi’lia; Bushra’s Greg Malouf; LENTO chef and restaurateur Faisal Naser; Dubai-based cookbook author Bethany Kehdy and Rita Soueidan of Maisan15 will gather alongside BOCA’s own Patricia Roig to curate a lunch to be served from 3PM to 6PM.
The Gather for Gaza series will host events at more Dubai restaurants in the coming weeks, including Zinn, 71 Steak & Grill and Reif Othman’s new restaurant Hoe Lee Kow.
