Make space in your calendar this December for an array of events happening in the region, from fashion exhibitions showcasing archival creations to elegant evening brunches and fundraisers for children in Palestine. For those staying home this weekend, MOJEH brings you a new way to shop from the comfort of your home and the podcast to listen to while you unwind.

Haute History

Doing your holiday shopping in Dubai Mall this week? Stop by the Chloé boutique and discover archival pieces designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Maison. Exhibiting in celebration of the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Karl x Met showcases creations from 1983 that were worn on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet alongside recently departed creative director Gabriela Hearst’s modern reinterpretations. In addition, you can shop the Chloé festive collection, which incorporates design details from archival pieces – including a guitar, mirrored embellishments and arrows.

Wings for Gaza

The Little Wings Foundation is organising a fundraiser for children of Gaza that continue to suffer due to the ongoing acts of violence in Palestine. The proceeds for the Wings for Gaza event will be directed to the Little Wings Foundation, contributing to its mission to assist children with limb deformities. The event programme includes activities for children, a silent auction of Palestinian artworks and a marketplace; adults are required to donate Dhs150 to secure their spot, while children can enter for free and gain access to the activities for Dhs50. Wings for Gaza takes place on 17 December from 11am to 6pm at A1 Space in Alserkal Avenue. Book here
