Model, activist and designer, Ashley Graham, and Italian fashion designer, Fausto Puglisi, were in Dubai earlier this year to celebrate the opening of the new Marina Rinaldi store in The Dubai Mall. Both guest designers for the brand – which caters specially for women who are considered plus-size – we thought it a good opportunity to hear them in conversation, as designer and muse for this underrepresented demographic.
In the video above, Graham and Puglisi sit down to dissect plus-size fashion – who’s doing it, who’s not doing it, and why – and the responsibility of a self-proclaimed body activist.
