Shoe maestro Christian Louboutin is taking over the world one bedazzled, red-soled shoe at a time. After branching into the beauty sector with the Louboutin nail varnish early last year and the launch of the Louboutinize app earlier this month, the brand continues to expand its beauty empire with their new offering of Louboutin lip colours for AW15 .

Designed around the powerful image of Egyptian queen Nefertiti, and specifically crafted to suit all skin tones, the new line comes in three perfected stories offering a rich variety of textures for the modern day woman. As typical of Louboutin the notion of lip-wear has been deconstructed to allow for utility. Each lip colour comes in a spear shaped casing emblazoned in detailed gold or loubie black, that can be worn as a piece of jewellery with the satin ribbon that accompanies each tube.
Silky Satin
Available in a universal shade palette, ranging from light to deep tones, across autumnal shades and vibrant hues of pink, berry, red, corals, nudes and browns, the silk satin lip colour provides four hours of coverage, enhances moisturisation and provides a silky soft shine.
Velvet Matte Lip Colour
Enhances lips with an intensely rich colour and settles into a soft matte finish, providing medium to full coverage with a specialised formulation of natural oils and seed butters that creates a protective effect against dryness.
Sheer Voile Lip Colour
This creamy smooth nourishing formula accentuates the natural radiance of lips with a wet luminous shine and is available in nine shades including the signature Rouge Louboutin.
