As Milan fashion week continues to get underway, we’ve taken note of 5 new styling lessons for SS16…
Prada
Netting at the neck was a modern motif at Prada – like a super stylish bib. Paired with metallic golden ochre lips (very 1960s-meets-sci-fi) and finished with dazzling Christmas-inspired bauble earrings.
Gucci
Building on from his intentions from last season, Alessandro Michele continued to present us with soft geek chick. Solid Gucci accessory references were amped up. It’s official: statement-making glasses will be following us through to 2016.
Alberta Ferretti
The folksy lace prairie dress looks set to stay. As though appearing from a sandstorm, Ferretti is inspiring us to opt for burnt shades and adopt an intrepid explorer mindset.
Emilio Pucci
Peter Dundas’ all-out glamour girl has gone. Instead Massimo Giorgetti, has injected a great dose of youth appeal. Oversized glasses, sleek straight long locks and paired back paradisiacal prints.
Fendi
Big sleeves and high necks. There was an Edwardian feel to Fendi’s runway. Adopt the look in head-to-toe blocks of colour in red, coral, white or black.
