Tarahum For Gaza: How To Donate And Where To Volunteer In The UAE

Emirates Red Crescent has established multiple drop-off points for supplies to be donated to those in need in Gaza

Emirates Red Crescent has launched the Tarahum for Gaza campaign in partnership with the World Food Programme and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Community Development to provide humanitarian aid to Palestinian children and families affected by the devastating events unfolding in Gaza. Emirates Red Crescent is operating facilities in all seven emirates where citizens can donate food and supplies. Emirates Red Crescent is also accepting monetary donations via the official website.

Emirates Red Crescent is asking for three types of donations: Children’s Basket, Food Basket and Women’s Basket. The full list of items that should be included in each basket is available here.

Emirates Red Crescent Drop-Off Sites

Dubai: ERC Headquarters in Al Garhoud, ERC Headquarters in Al Quoz, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Al Shindagha, City Centre Meaisem, City Centre Mirdif, Arabian Centre.⁠

Abu Dhabi: ERC Headquarters, Carrefour Donation Tent on Airport Road, Al Marina Donation Tent, Al Shahama Donation Tent at the Baniyas Co-operative Society, Khalifa City Donation Tent, Baniyas City in front of Lulu Hypermarket, Al Shawamekh city.⁠

Ras Al Khaimah: ERC Headquarters in Dafan Al Khor, RAK Donation Tent, AL Dhait South Donation Tent, Al Rams Donation Tent, Sha’am Donation Tent, Al Mairid Donation Tent.⁠

Sharjah: ERC Headquarters in Al Rahmaniya, ERC office in Al Nekhailat.⁠

Fujairah: ERC Headquarters in Al Faseel, Dubai Islamic Bank Donation Tent at Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Sharqui 83.⁠

Ajman: ERC Headquarters in Meshairef.⁠

Umm Al Quwain: ERC Headquarters at Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street.

In addition to the Emirates Red Crescent sites, Warehouse A1 in Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz, Dubai is also accepting packages, as well as all City Centre malls throughout the UAE and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. The drop-off sites are welcoming volunteers to help manage, sort and pack the supplies into boxes ready to be shipped.
