Alexis Mabille injected a dose of playful glamour into their autumn/winter collection with various leaf-inspired earrings. Mismatched earrings are set to become the biggest accessory trend of 2017, and Alexis Mabille is certainly following suit with these gilded creations.
Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing delivered an aesthetically pleasing, and politically relevant, collection at Paris Fashion Week. Super tight and super short, autumn/winter is set to be an extravagant affair, with gold chains, garnet beading and matte sequins, topped off with plenty of suede, snakeskin and shearling.
This week saw the last Chloe collection designed by creative director Clare Waight Keller who will be leaving her position on March 31st. For six years she's combined the label's casual aesthetic with the feminine flou she's become so well known for. Natacha Ramsay Levi, currently womenswear designer Louis Vuitton, is expected to be officially announced as the new helmer.
Arguably best known for their handbags, Chloe's deep plum-hued circular 'Pixie' creation is fun and funky. Featuring a gold handle, as well as an elongated strap, this accessory is perfect for lunch with friends or a more refined evening soirée. What more could we ask for?
Isabel Marant's beauty look for this week's show took our breath away. Angelic, smooth and pale complexions strutted down the catwalk effortlessly. An ever-so slight pink lip was worn with minimal eyeshadow and minimal brows for a truly well-kept and understated look that's guaranteed to turn heads
