Hollywood's most powerful stylists have been ranked. Find out who took the top spot here...
We've seen Lady Gaga, Gemma Chan and Emma Stone continuously turn heads on the red carpet. Whilst it's part due to coveted creations by world-renowned designers, it's also because of their overall winning looks. And that comes courtesy of their stylists.
Every year, The Hollywood Reporter releases a list of '25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood 2019'. Now in its ninth year, there comes a surprising new list of names leading the scoreboard.
With a portfolio of incredibly strong looks of Hollywood glamour, stylist duo Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador, easily took home first place. Their focus this year was on Lady Gaga and her A Star Is Born wardrobe, which compiles a slew of memorable looks on the red carpet.
Interestingly, the stylists have never made the list before. But thanks to *that* choice of Tiffany & Co.'s yellow diamond necklace worn during the Oscars and blue Valentino gown at the Golden Globes, it's no wonder they've made it to the top this year.
In second place, L.A.-based stylist Ilaria Urbinati was crowned for her stylish works for Rami Malek and Bradley Cooper's wardrobes. Rebecca Corbin-Murray came in third with her looks for Gemma Chan (a red carpet-favourite) and Lily James. She was then followed by Elizabeth Stewart (her portfolio includes Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock and Jessica Chastain) and Bay Area native, Petra Flannery (with a client list that includes Emma Stone, Amy Adams and Emilia Clarke).
Powerhouse stylist Kate Young came in sixth this year. This came as a surprise given that Young had previously topped the list three times. Last year, she was named as the most powerful stylist followed by recognition in 2016 and 2012, too.
