Maria Grazia Chiuri introduces the macro-cannage motif for Autumn/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear and accessories
A signature of the House, cannage topstitching first appeared in 1995 on the ChouChou bag, later dubbed the Lady Dior. The design detail was borrowed from the chairs that lined the Maison's haute couture salons and was a favourite of Lady Diana's, prompting the name change. Reinvented for new generations, the latest iteration is the Lady D-Lite which features 3D macro-cannage embroidery and Christian Dior signature.
