Saint Laurent Autumn/Winter 2022 combines Art Deco glamour with lashings of leather and signature suiting in an all-black affair that oozes elegance. Faux fur coats – the maison has vowed to go fur-free for all future collections – of floor-sweeping and waist-skimming lengths are a collection highlight and were teamed with figure-hugging maxis and structured separates including Le Smoking. Sharp-shouldered jackets were juxtaposed with roomy trousers and lace skirts. The masculine-feminine Saint Laurent Autumn/Winter 2022 collection was complemented by statement-making accessories including oversized jewellery, dramatic opaque sunglasses and strappy barely-there metallic heels.
