The fashion film’s opening scene sees Prada and Gucci go head to head in silk, printed ankle sweeping gowns, down played in a geek chic vibe with Burberry diamond checked socks. Femininity then comes in the style of sheer, soft white dresses with delicate bow and heart detailing from Cecile Bahnsen and Zimmermann, while make-up is kept soft and pared back with just a hint of blush pink on the lips. Vintage inspired dresses by Preen are offered an air of youth when teamed with varsity jackets from Miu Miu and Isabel Marant, as the fashion film captures charming ways of taking on one seasonal trend and styling it in two unique ways. Sonia Rykiel, Marni and Burberry later provide a backdrop of stunning silk and taffeta gowns, and stylist Ina lekiewicz offers ways of indulging in what may traditionally be evening gowns, for the daytime instead.
