How To Break All The Rules When Styling High Jewellery

In its March Issue photoshoot, A Fine Uprising, MOJEH looks at new ways of styling high-jewellery. Watch the video here.

When styling high-jewellery in 2018, consider all the rules you’ve so far followed, and then leave them behind. Instead, your pieces should be stacked, miss-matched and exploding with clashing colours and different types of golds. Potentially the most daring thought – mix your high-jewellery pieces with fine-jewellery. In MOJEH’s March shoot, A Fine Uprising, – photographed by Vivienne Balla and styled by Kelly Baldwin – different colours and themes from Christian Dior’s fine and high jewellery collections are loaded up in a statement making vision with high impact.

Worn with black and red leather pieces, classic and delicate My Dior pieces are worn alongside the chunkier Pre Catelan ring. And the Incroyables et Merveileuses ring is teamed with the Milly Carnivora ring. Here, emeralds and rubies sit alongside an all engulfing turquoise stone – but the result is one of power. In clothing, forget regal, evening-wear. Instead, show-off your precious pieces day and night by teaming with ready to wear. Think bracelets covered in diamonds worn with silk shirts and tailored trousers, and casual beauty looks framed by earrings dripping in precious stones.
