Dubai sure knows how to throw a party (who could forget Beyoncé‘s performance at the opening of Atlantis The Royal last year?). Jennifer Lopez was in Dubai this weekend to perform at the official opening of One&Only Za’abeel, the city’s latest luxury address.

After walking the red carpet in a voluminous black Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown and Sartoro jewels, JLo performed at The Sphere in a high-neck Valentino jumpsuit complete with purple sequins that dazzled in the spotlight.

Other famous faces in attendance were Naomi Campbell, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Mark Ronson and Vanessa Hudgens, while Nancy Ajram performed a medley of hits at the sprawling rooftop pool.
One&Only Za’abeel is described as Dubai’s first “urban vertical resort” and boasts a plethora of fine-dining restaurants helmed by Michelin-awarded chefs, including Anne-Sophie Pic and Paco Morales. Not to be left out of the city’s ever-expanding list of records, the property features the UAE’s longest suspended infinity pool and the world’s longer cantilever.
