It’s apparent that sleeves are having a moment, from voluminous Victorian styles to flaired bohemian numbers, and now most recently long, exaggerated varieties. This latest street style craze was first spotted at Vetements, The Row and Michael Kors a/w16 runways, and has since taken off, becoming a dominant presence amongst popular street style mavens. Camille Charrière and Kim Jones are among a few sartorial stars leading the trend, choosing to sport unexpected proportions and making it appear effortlessly chic. Trail the trend and opt for a blouse with extra-long sleeves and layer it under a fitted knit for a nonchalant winter style. Accompanying bell-bottom trousers will also elevate the look and will balance out the silhouette.
