Where is your favourite place to be in the world?

I love being in the sun, whether that means on the beach somewhere like Costa Rica or Rio, L.A. or even New York in the summer. I like sun and vibes… it’s great to go somewhere with sun, fun and cool people.

Where are you traveling to this summer?

We are going to go to Hossegor on the west coast of France and/or Bali.

What makes a great getaway for you?

A beautiful place, some sunshine and a great crew (and good food!).

How has travel influenced your style over the years?

I like to have easy versatile pieces that I can pack and wear, whatever the occasion. I take things you could wear in the daytime to the beach, which are super-relaxed and comfortable but equally dress up for night time.

How does your style change during the summer?

I wear fewer layers, but my style is the same.

What has been your most memorable work trip?

I went to L.A. for my very first swimwear look book, which we shot at the Chateau Marmont. We also went out to Palm Springs to have a pool party in the middle of the desert for Coachella – that must have been five years ago.

What are the five stylish travel essentials you take with you every time?

My Prism metal Palawan platform sandals, Calvi amber tortoiseshell sunglasses, Mustique black cracked leather beach bag, Samar ceil blue swimsuit and Negril white fringe shirt dress.

What makes a Prism swimsuit different?

We develop the fabrics exclusively for Prism with a factory in France, and the fit of each bikini is fine-tuned – with secret underwiring and detachable straps, every last little thing has been looked at in detail. I named each piece after a place that its style reminded me of.

How many pairs of sunglasses do you travel with?

About 10. I take lots of different styles and colours for different occasions. I’ll carry classic pairs, say black and dark tortoiseshell in Brazilia, for when I’m feeling low key, or St Louis cat-eyes in taupe or Bilbao with green mirrored lenses for when I feel like I want something brighter.

What are your secrets for maintaining a sense of style at the airport?

Keep it simple. I generally wear black and normally just lots of layers – like an ankle length tank dress, cropped cardigan and big soft scarf that multitasks as a blanket!

Who do you love to travel with?

My boyfriend Pierre and my son Lucien – I hate going anywhere without them now!
