Regarded as Dubai’s first homegrown celebrity chef, Chef Izu Ani brings his famed cuisine to a brand-new beach club concept

Chef Izu Ani is responsible for some of Dubai’s best-loved restaurants, including Carine, GAIA and La Maison Ani, and he is now bringing his famed Mediterranean fare to the shores of Palm Jumeirah’s West Beach in partnership with long-time collaborator and hospitality powerhouse Evgeny Kuzin. Marking the chef’s first beach club, Maison De La Plage evokes the sun-drenched shores of the Côte d’Azur with serene hues of white and peach, rattan furnishings and plenty of lush greenery punctuating the space.

At the heart of the venue is a rustic marketplace — an homage to chef Izu Ani’s meet-cute with his now-wife in a French market — comprising vegetables, meats and fish. Fresh from the market, these ingredients are integrated into the French-Mediterranean menu, which features truffle-topped beef carpaccio, grilled harissa prawns, lobster linguine and snails with butter and anchovies alongside chef Izu’s famous lentil salad and Izu burger. Booked a sun lounger? Snack on a selection of crudités from the market or tuck into thin-crust pizzas, salads and extravagant fruit platters.

Whether stopping by for an easy breakfast, alfresco lunch date or sunbathing by the sea, Maison De La Plage is the perfect place to soak up the springtime sunshine. Book now
