The highly anticipated Van Cleef & Arpels exhibition Van Cleef & Arpels: Time, Nature, Love has officially opened its doors in Riyadh. Taking place at the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, the immersive exhibition is a glittering trip down memory lane, showcasing stunning creations from throughout the Maison's 117-year history.
Curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewelry Design at Milan Polytechnic University and President of the Milano Fashion Institute, the first-of-its-kind exhibition features 280 pieces of jewellery, watches and precious objects alongside 90 archival documents organised into three chapters: Time, Nature and Love. Among them are pieces once owned by Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Queen Nazli of Egypt and Princess Fawzia of Egypt. Visitors will also be able to attend talks with regional and international speakers, workshops and educational activities as part of its L'Ecole School of Jewelry Arts. Topics include 'Nature: The Inspiration for Architecture' and 'The Secrets of Sentimental Jewels'.
