The Jewelled Vault at Garrard is the crème de la crème of high jewellery and is brimming with exceptionally rare rings
Have you ever fancied taking a peek inside Garrard’s Jewelled Vault? Well, now you can. Taking inspiration from Maria Alexandrovna, the Duchess of Edinburgh who, when she travelled to England to marry Prince Alfred in 1874, brought with her an incredible collection of jewels that grew as she commissioned new designs from the house. Another royal that adored Garrard? Princess Diana. Her iconic sapphire engagement ring was designed by Garrard in 1981 and is now worn by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
“The design concept is unique, and we only begin designing a Jewelled Vault piece when our gemologists have discovered an outstanding new gem,” says Sara Prentice, Garrard’s creative director. As such, inside the vault lies a smorgasbord of exceptional jewellery that honours the world’s most exceptional stones, from royal blue sapphires, Colombian emeralds and ‘pigeon’s blood’ rubies to Padparadscha sapphires and other stunning rarities. Marrying the brand’s creative flair with its coloured stone expertise, you’ll be hard-pressed to find high jewellery more spectacular. Explore the vault
