Red carpets might be all about the stunning gowns, but at this year’s Cannes 2018 the showstopping jewellery on showcase demanded just as much attention as the dresses it complimented. Whether it was Bulgari Brand Ambassador Bella Hadid in a diamond choker, Cate Blanchett’s pair of gem-set orchid earrings from Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection, or Léa Seydoux who channelled the 1920s in a beaded Louis Vuitton dress which she beautifully accessorised with pretty jewels from Boucheron’s Lierre de Paris collection. The pieces on show were anything but simple.
