Bell & Ross’ latest watch experiments with time and space

1 min 9 sec

The latest women’s watch from Bell & Ross is inspired by the celestial sphere, as well as the vast, midnight black ocean that peacefully reflects the stars, which shimmer like hope-fuelled beacons amidst the dark.

Stars have been used as points of reference for navigation for centuries. Bell & Ross have decided to pay tribute to these watchtowers, without which travellers would never have reached their destinations.

Bell & Ross Diamond Eagle is the latest in a line of contemporary timepieces aimed at sophisticated women. Each watch features the brand’s iconic round dial, which is set in a soft square. A navy-blue shade is paired with scintillating metal while seven sparkling diamonds evoke scintillating stars, which are inspired by the Aquila constellation.

This mini Milky Way is achieved by carefully setting the stones into the dial using a specific pattern inspired by this legendary cluster. The size, as well as shine, of the gems used is a perfect rendering of this celestial group.
