Eye Of The Tiger

Kenzo’s first Dubai boutique officially opened this week at the luxurious Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall. As residents know, gathering ‘firsts’ is part of Dubai’s DNA and the Kenzo opening is no different; the Dubai Mall boutique is the first to unveil a brand-new retail concept under the vision of creative director Nigo. Japanese and French influences flow throughout the space as an homage to the House’s two pillars; parquet flooring and the stone facade pay tribute to the latter, while the former is represented through a large lacquered structure evoking architecture found in traditional Japanese homes. Gazing up, shoppers will discover a touching tribute to founder Kenzo Takada, as the ceiling has been designed to echo that of the founder’s Parisian home.

The boutique houses womenswear and menswear from the SS24 collection as well as shoes, accessories and an exclusive womenswear Ramadan collection.

Buckle Up

Introducing spring’s It Bag: The Prada Buckle. The latest accessory by the Italian House is an oversized top-handle bag that has already been seen on the arms of the street style set. The bag earns its name from the interchangeable belt at its opening and, thanks to neutral colourways and roomy silhouette, is guaranteed to become a nine-to-five companion. Shop now
