If you can count on one Paris Fashion Week show being packed to the rafters with A-listers, it is Valentino. Not only were celebrities literally rubbing shoulders on the FROW at École des Beaux-Arts – Florence Pugh, Maude Apatow, Andrew Garfield and Cher were just some of the stars in attendance – but Kaia Gerber opened the show while FKA Twigs performed. Florence Pugh debuted an ice-blonde pixie cut and wore a baby pink suit and matching crop top. Andrew Garfield, Paris and Nicky Hilton and Balquees Fathi all opted for blinding brights, while other A-listers sported monochrome pieces from Valentino’s AW23 collection.

Valentino SS24, dubbed L’École, “serves to highlight the body in a celebration of femininity and humanity,” according to the show notes. Every element is designed to interact with, or showcase, the body; cut-outs on dresses, coats and shirts showed glimpses of skin, trousers and skirts hugged curves, and the chain of the VLogo Moon bag wraps around the wrist.
