The New Smoky Eye Traditionally summer’s lighter, highlighted and sun kissed lids are switched up for a heavier offering for autumn/winter. The New Native updates black and browns with plums and mauves in a metallic finish. MOJEH Tip: Update your lids by adding a pop of the aforementioned tones of the season to your lash line with a fine shadow brush before lining the waterline in jet black.
Golden Era When paired with autumn’s muted tones, gold and glitter can lend themselves to the grown-ups. Simply apply moisturiser or a creamy shadow then add the glitter particles wherever you want the shimmer. MOJEH Tip: Use sparingly across the lid or concentrate the focus on either the inner or outer area.
Plum Aplomb While the statement lip was once a focal point, The New Native, takes an updated approach with a softer lip working to complement the eyes as part of a complete look. Opt for a stain in plum or burgundy to complement the other earthy tones. MOJEH Tip: To take on this transition with a softer slant, skip the lip liner and add a layer of clear gloss on top of lipstick.
Bolder Brows Big brows continue to reign, however the deeply darkened shades of past seasons have been switched for more natural hues. This look nods towards the natural, so when perfecting your arch aim for a colour close to your natural hair colour unless you’re ultrafair or ultradark in which case go either one to two shades darker or lighter respectively. MOJEH Tip: For thicker, fuller brows use a brow growth serum or oil.
Natural Knot A textured tonic to the product-heavy, slicked back hair styles of former seasons, this look is a breath of fresh hair that celebrates and emphasises natural texture. MOJEH Tip: Achieve natural, loose waves minus the products by letting your hair dry naturally in a bun over night, after securing your hair in a loose knot tease a few strands out to frame the face
