More is more where volume is concerned. There were two trends at play here - the first being ruffles which when delicately layered create bundles of drama and big shapes. Molly Goddard led the change of ruffle-flaunting designers - Roksanda, 16 Arlington and Ashley Williams also favoured this light and more romantic yet still maximalist vision. The second is the type of mega volume created by super bubble hems - it was Simone Rocha and Richard Quinn who championed this fantastically glamorous look with aplomb.
