Paris Fashion Week has officially come to an end with some of the best shows saved for last...
In what seemed like a long (and we mean, very long) month of coveted runways, Fashion Month has finally ended with Paris Fashion Week concluding the schedule.
Flooded with emotional tributes, achingly cool Fall/Winter '19 creations and second chances (for Hedi Slimane at Celine, in particular), this season marked a momentous one.
Before officially saying au revoir, we're digesting two of the final collections showcased on the last day. Here's looking at Miu Miu and Lacoste...
Miu Miu
Miuccia Prada had a somber approach to autumnal dressing this season. The creative force behind the brand released a collection that unfolded between black-walled corridors and onto a felted catwalk.
A clear visual overload, the runway exploded with silhouettes that invited rebelliousness. Camouflage was aplenty as military-inspired pockets and over-sized capes dominated the collection. Then emerged the brand's nod to femininity. We spotted a slew of A-line mini-dresses, complete with sheer fabrics and bright florals.

Lacoste
Next on the list was Lacoste.
Officially making her mark as the brand's newest Creative Director was Louise Trotter. And it seemed like she made a solid debut.
Trotter's first efforts for the French company were translated through a co-ed collection that was undeniably cool and effortless. Brimming with boxy shapes, camel-coloured hues, crisp separates and an urban aesthetic, the collection proved a new fashion direction for the house.
Also, there was a serious play on colour-blocking and intricate patchworks. Models fronted a slew of polo shirt-dresses, pleated skirts, sporty stripes and chunky collars.
