Now that fashion month has come to an end, it’s time to take a look back on all the shows and evaluate the biggest trends for SS19. And one style that we couldn’t help but notice was oversized sunglasses, particularly of the sporting variety.

Chromat, Loewe, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rick Owens, and Stella McCartney all opted for large high-tech shades which boasted bold, coloured or mirrored lenses in hardy industrial frames.

At Dior, Pamella Roland and Kate Spade it was all about '70s-inspired sunglasses which were square in shape and generally came in bold hues.

Acne and Byblos decided to stick with the coloured lens trend that has been popular this past summer, but they upped the anti by supersizing the frames.

Tom Ford showcased a series of black oversized shades, which radiated glamour.

At Givenchy, embellished sunglasses were taken to the next level with dazzling crystals and straps.
