The brand is spearheading the sustainable fashion movement in Eastern Europe
Kiev-based fashion designer Ksenia Schnaider launched her namesake label alongside her husband, graphic designer Anton Schnaider, in 2011. The Ukrainian brand is known for its sustainability and statement reworked denim. Rather than creating more fabric to eventually add to our waste, Ksenia Schnaider turns unwanted clothing into up-to-date fashion looks. In fact, last year alone they created 3000 pieces from unwanted jeans.
With their familiar silhouettes, which are revived with fresh details such as raw edges and a modern fit, it's not hard to see why the brand has gained an influential following including Eva Chen, Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, Camila Cabello and Linda Tol.
Apart from denim, the brand’s autumn/winter 18 collection also features a range of edgy styles, which are made from vintage reworked sportswear.
